Checklists for to-do and schedule items

We need the ability to create checklists within the job schedule and the to-do's. I am hoping to hear what others think as well.

Use Case Examples:

  • To-Do Example:
    Task: Painting Touch-Up
    Checklist Items:

    • Master Bedroom

    • Kitchen Base Trim

    • Stairwell Ceiling

    • Entry Closet

    • Basement Door Casing

    • [Etc.]

  • Schedule Item Example:
    Task: Electrical Rough-In
    Checklist Items:

    • Kitchen layout walkthrough

    • Recessed can locations confirmed

    • Switch heights verified

    • Load panel installed

    • Exterior outlets marked

    • [Etc.]

Adding checklists would simplify our workflow by reducing the number of overall schedules and to-do items while still allowing us to track details. To-do's would be reduced by more than 50%!

It would also make sharing task specifics with vendors and subcontractors easier without creating additional entries. Overall, it’s a small feature that would make a significant impact in Ressio.
